What does “winning” mean in Carve a Pumpkin on Roblox?
In the two gameplay videos we reviewed, a round ends with a Winners stage (three pumpkins on wooden podiums, confetti) and then a Player Scores board that lists #1, #2, #3… with star totals. The Roblox store page only says players vote for the best pumpkin; it does not publish formulas, tie rules, or design rubrics. Everything below is what we saw on screen in those lobbies—useful for searchers asking what wins in Carve a Pumpkin, best pumpkin ideas, or designs that placed first, but not proof that copying these shapes will raise your rank.
Which pumpkins took first place in Andre se hace Gamer’s video?
Source: WRXWjjoXVlo (uploaded 2026-10-10, ~16 minutes, Spanish audio). Times are approximate because the upload contains jump cuts.
| Theme (HUD) | Approx. winners / scores time | Rank #1 on Player Scores (stars) | Center podium pumpkin (appearance only) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nightmare | ~0:41 podium; ~0:45 scores | 21 | Large orange face, jagged slanted eyes, wide toothy mouth, high glow |
| Mustache Face | ~1:51 podium; ~1:53 scores | 18 (tied #1 and #2) | Stylized mustache + goatee face carving (center stand) |
| Favorite Food | ~5:10 podium; ~5:12 scores | 20 | Single large pizza slice silhouette (center) |
| Pirate | ~8:13 podium; ~8:18 scores | 15 (three-way tie at #1–#3) | Cartoon pirate face: big eye patch, buck teeth, curved forehead line |
| Fire | ~10:58 podium; ~11:05 scores | 23 | Flame-shaped eyes + sharp toothy mouth on orange body |
| King | ~15:52 podium | (board not captured this frame) | Face with carved crown band and curly mustache/goatee |
Nightmare round — jagged monster face on center podium
On the Winners stage, the tallest center pumpkin showed a classic “scary” read: large slanted eye holes, a wide mouth packed with vertical teeth, and strong yellow-orange glow through the cuts. A Player Scores frame at ~0:45 lists #1 at 21 stars, with lower rows at 14 and 12—the #1 row name did not match the center podium nameplate in this round (see voting and results for the same podium-vs-board pattern). The left podium pumpkin in the same winners shot looked similar but added a small “BOO” prop beside the body—still a readable monster, not an abstract doodle.

Winners stage, Nightmare theme (~0:41). We blur all nameplates; describe the pumpkin shapes only.

Player Scores after the same round (~0:45). Theme: Nightmare on the HUD; #1 reads 21 stars in the frame we captured.
Mustache Face — detailed face vs hat + bow tie
The center podium pumpkin carried a stylized mustache, goatee, and face-forward eye cuts (including a monocle-style circle on one side in the frame we saved)—a literal Mustache Face read without relying on props. The left pumpkin wore a wide-brim hat accessory and a carved bow tie; the right pumpkin used a thick block mustache. On Player Scores, #1 and #2 both show 18 stars (sequential ranks, not a shared “tie” label), but neither top board row matched the center podium name in our capture. Only one of three podium names appeared on the seven-row board in the Mustache round analyzed on our voting guide—we treat podium layout and board order as separate, not yet verified systems.

Mustache Face winners (~1:51). Center design is face-forward; left design adds a hat prop.
Favorite Food — literal pizza slice beat text and bowls
Favorite Food produced a clear literal read on the center stand: a single pizza slice triangle with a readable crust edge (center podium in our ~5:10 winners frame). Second place on the left showed partial letter carving (“PIZE” in the frame we read) plus a round topping shape; third place looked like a noodle-bowl scribble with less immediate food readability. Player Scores at ~5:12 lists #1 at 20 stars on a different player name than the center podium pumpkin—again, podium center ≠ board #1 here. The narrator’s auto-translated subtitles mention writing “pizza” on a pumpkin when time ran out (clue only); the center podium pumpkin did not use readable text in the frame we saved.

Favorite Food winners (~5:10). Center = icon-like pizza slice; side entries mix text and bowl shapes.
Pirate — cartoon pirate face wins a three-way star tie
The Pirate center pumpkin used one large eye patch cutout, a small cross-shaped eye, a round nose, and two square front teeth, plus a curved forehead band suggesting a hat brim—all high-contrast on orange. Player Scores shows #1–#3 each at 15 stars with sequential ranks (#1, #2, #3). In this capture, the center podium name matched the #1 board row (unlike Mustache or Favorite Food above). Auto-translated subtitles claim a first-place finish this round—the #1 row in our board frame is consistent with that narration, but subtitles are not game rules and we did not verify the narrator’s account name against the row text.

Pirate winners (~8:13). Center pirate face vs classic jack-o-lantern with a forehead scar line on the right stand.
Fire — monster face beat literal campfire on a white pumpkin
On the Fire podium (~10:58), the center #1 pumpkin kept an orange body with flame-shaped eyes and a dense jagged mouth. Second place used a white pumpkin carved as crossed logs with three flame tongues—a literal campfire read. Third place stacked vertical flame silhouettes with less facial structure. Player Scores in the next beat lists #1 at 23 stars, with #2 and #3 both at 20.

Fire winners (~10:58). Character face vs literal campfire vs abstract flames.

Fire Player Scores (~11:05). Theme: Fire visible; #1 = 23 stars in the frame.
King — crown band on a expressive face
The King round (~15:52) put a crown-shaped carving above the eyes, a wide smirk mouth, and mustache/goatee lines on the center pumpkin. The left pumpkin was extremely minimal (two glowing eye holes only). The right pumpkin used a silhouette figure with a staff and star cutouts—more scene-like than face-like. We did not capture a clean Player Scores frame for this round in the same pass; treat star totals here as not read in our screenshot set.

King winners (~15:52). Center = crown + expression; right = silhouette prop-style carving.
Which pumpkins took first place in KawaiiCreeper’s video?
Source: gw8giYWu3Ss (uploaded 2026-10-11, ~48 minutes, English audio, unreliable auto captions). We skipped the Eyes round podium here because the same round’s podium frame already illustrates coins, stars and shop.
| Theme (HUD) | Approx. time | Rank #1 (Player Scores when read) | Center podium look |
|---|---|---|---|
| Classic Halloween | ~21:58 | (board not saved; podium only) | Round-eye jack-o-lantern + straw hat and spider on top |
| Fish | ~26:08 podium; ~26:15 scores | #1 at 10 stars (board); center podium = large fish | Large horizontal fish + bubble holes (center stand) |
| Weather | ~35:05 | 14 stars (~35:12 board) | Sun eye + cloud/rain eye weather face |
| Scary | ~39:48 | 17 stars (~39:55 board) | Heavy jagged grin with brow lines |
Classic Halloween — traditional face plus hat prop
The center pumpkin used round eyes, triangle nose, and a grin, then added a wide straw hat with a spider sitting on the brim—one of the clearest prop + classic face combinations in either video. Side podiums stuck to triangle-eye jack-o-lanterns without hats. This is evidence that accessories can appear on a center winner in at least one round; whether props sway votes is not yet verified.

Classic Halloween winners (~21:58). Center combines carving + hat/spider.
Fish — one big icon beats busy scene
Fish center: a wide fish silhouette with a tail notch and several round bubble holes. Left: two smaller fish plus vertical seaweed lines. Right: one minimal fish outline. Player Scores a few seconds later lists #1 at 10 stars under a different name than the center podium pumpkin—use the screenshot for shape, not as proof the podium owner earned board #1.

Fish winners (~26:08). Center = single large fish; left = multi-element underwater scene.
Weather — weather face vs house scene
Weather center (~35:05): a face layout where one eye reads as a sun with rays, the other as a cloud with rain, and the mouth is a simple downturned line. Left showed a house, fence, and rain cloud scene; right looked like abstract holes with weak theme readability. Player Scores at ~35:12 lists #1 at 14 stars (Theme: Weather on the HUD) for a different player than the center podium pumpkin in our winners frame.

Weather winners (~35:05). Center = compact weather face.

Weather Player Scores (~35:12). #1 = 14 stars in the frame.
Scary — detailed grin on center podium
On the Scary podium (~39:48), the center pumpkin used thick brow lines, large angled eyes, and a wide jagged mouth. Side pumpkins included a classic fang mouth (left) and a wavier, less readable face (right). Player Scores (~39:55) shows #1 at 17 stars with Theme: Scary visible—the #1 name did not match either side podium nameplate in our winners capture (center nameplate was not readable after blur).

Scary winners (~39:48). Center grin vs simpler side faces.

Scary Player Scores (~39:55). #1 = 17 stars.
Robot — bright empty cavity vs literal robots (Winners stage)
At ~17:45 on the Robot theme, the center pumpkin on the Winners timer was the brightest: a huge jagged internal cutout filling most of the face. Right showed multiple small robot silhouettes; left was still uncarved orange. We did not read a Player Scores row for this exact frame set; use it as a lighting/readability comparison only.

Robot winners stage (~17:45). Center = maximum glow area; right = literal robot figures.
Treasure — literal chest (voting stage, rank not captured)
During Treasure, we captured a voting-stage close-up of a pumpkin carved as an open chest with coin circles and sparkle marks, glowing strongly on the dark background. We do not have a clean Treasure podium screenshot in this batch, so we do not claim a rank for that design—only that literal treasure iconography appeared on stage.

What patterns show up when you compare #1 to #2 and #3 in the same shot?
These are side-by-side observations from the frames above—not rules.
| Pattern in this footage | Examples we saw | Counter-examples in the same videos |
|---|---|---|
| Literal theme icon on center | Pizza slice (Favorite Food), fish silhouette (Fish), pirate face (Pirate) | Abstract flame strips still took third on Fire |
| Large glowing face readable at distance | Nightmare teeth, Scary grin, Fire monster eyes | Minimal two-eye pumpkin still on King left podium |
| Props on winner | Straw hat + spider (Classic Halloween); BOO sign near second (Nightmare) | Many winners had no hat (Pirate, Fish, Weather face) |
| Non-orange body | White campfire pumpkin placed second on Fire | Most #1 pumpkins stayed default orange |
| Text on pumpkin | “PIZE” letters on second Favorite Food | Center podium was shape-only pizza |
Stars totals for #1 varied (14–23 in readable boards), and ties happened (Mustache 18/18; Pirate 15/15/15; Fire 20/20 for #2–#3). How star clicks produce those totals is not yet verified (see voting and results).
Our suggestions (not game mechanics)
- Start from the HUD theme word and pick one big silhouette voters can read in ~6 seconds on the dark stage (voting UI).
- Test readability after carving: if you squint, the theme should still read; see themes for how prompts appear.
- Use props you already own when they reinforce the theme (hat, spider, boo sign)—see customize your pumpkin for Body/Hats/Misc menus.
- Practice tool control on simpler rounds before chasing complex scenes—how to carve covers the editor path we saw in footage.
- Do not chase exact star counts (21 vs 17 vs 14); those numbers are lobby snapshots, not targets published by the developer.
